Area (10) Large schools of walleye roam the gently sloping, 18- to 36-foot basin of Hay Bay throughout the ice fishing season. No spot seems to be consistently better than any other, so drill multiple holes and move often to locate fish. Try a variety of lure types and colors - some anglers do well jigging a casting spoon like a Little Cleo, tipped with a three-inch minnow.
