A long, weedy, gravel/rock bar coming out from Trumpour Point (locally called Bygotts Point) can be exceptional for pickerel in May and again from early August into November.   In particular, this is a great "big fish" spot in September and early October, with lots of 8- to 12-pound walleye available.  Start jigging at Buoy Q6 in about 25 feet of water and work in  until you hit the weedline.

Also in early fall, run a deep-diving crankbait along the drop-off for a shot at northern pike to 15 to 16 pounds.
