Big pickerel move into Picton Harbor in spring and fall.  Some horses are caught by casting stickbaits from the docks after dark, especially in November.  Don't be surprised if one of those "pickerel" fights a lot harder than normal - some chinook salmon to 25 pounds and brown trout to 15 also come in from late September through November.
