Area (2)

Foresters Island is basically an extension of Grassy Point, with a shallow rock-garden between.  The perimeter holds "local" walleye year-round, and huge numbers of migratory fish pass through narrow channels on the north and east sides, primarily in May and October.  During open-water, concentrate on the rocky reefs at Buoys Q13 and Q17.  In winter, try the 20- to 25-foot trench north and Northwest of the island.
