Smallmouth bass spawn around Lyons Island in June, then gradually move out into deeper water. In July, cast medium diving crankbaits in 4-8' depths around the island, but from mid-August on jig the 15-25' drop-offs. Occasional walleye are taken around Pull Point and the 10' hump east of Pull.

In past years, the 15-30' water between Pull and Allen points was one of few spots in the Bay of Quinte to consistently produce muskie, but fishing pressure has been very light recently. Troll it in Fall for a shot at a trophy.
