Area (3)

For some incredible pickerel action, troll or jig the upper end of Mohawk Bay from mid-May until early June.  Large schools of spawned-out fish congregate in 4 to 12 feet of water off the Napanee River mouth, and catching/releasing 50 fish per day is not unusual.  Almost all are males running 1 1/2 to 3 pounds, with a few up to 7 pounds.
