Carman Shoal tops out a 9 feet, a little too deep for significant weed growth in this part of the bay.  While it can produce summer walleye any time the alewife are not in, it's better known as a fall spot.  Vertical-jig the steep, rocky 15-to 24-foot drop-offs southwest of the hump and the edge of the 18-foot flat farther north.
