Catalaque Shoal (locally called Green Point shoal) is the first classic "middle bay"-type walleye spot, with deeper, slightly clearer water than the upper bay and nice coontail growth on the flat.  It can be dynamite in May/early June, from late July until November and again through the ice.  In May, jig the 10- to 12-foot shoal inside Buoy Q11; from late July through September, troll or cast crankbiats like Shad Raps along the outside weed edge.
