Current and deep water draw hog walleye to the south channel at the Bay Bridge, from late October until mid-December.  Action can be good as far east as Buoy Q54, but is often best around the 34-foot hole just west of the bridge.  Vertical-jig the riprap banks and piers from the old swing-bridge.  Try a Fat Gitzit for smallmouth bass to 6 pounds.
