Area 16

Rush Bar=s mix of a weedy, gravel bottomed flat, rocky drop-off to deep water, and current through a Aneck down@ make it classic walleye water. In May and early June, concentrate on 8 to 12 feet of water, especially on the north side. August and September, troll cranks or cast along the coontail edges, on all sides of the hump. From mid-October through November hit the steep slope near Buoy Q53 for a great shot at mounting size walleye and smallmouth bass.

Some beautiful channel catfish, up to 25 pounds, are taken from the deep trench in July and August.
