From Grape Island up to the first road crossing Sawquin Creek offers over 2 miles of quality largemouth bass water. Flip a jig/Berkley Power Craw to cover like rockpiles, downed trees, weed edges and undercut banks, especially on the deeper north side. Northern pike spawn here and can be good sport on spinners in May.
