Area 21

The south west part of Muscote Bay is loaded with vegetation; pencil reed, coontail, undercut cattail banks, etc. Largemouth bass can be anywhere, but seem to prefer undercut banks or standing cane with blown in weed mats, in at least 3 feet of water. Millar Swamp and the area southwest of Goose Island are prime. Muscote Bay is probably the no.1 spawning area for northern pike in the Bay of Quinte, and offers good pike action in May and June.
