Huge schools of walleye roam the flat, 15 to 18 foot basin of Big Bay throughout the ice fishing season. No spot seems to be consistently better than any other, and today=s hot hole is tomorrow=s dud. Drill multiple holes and move often to locate fish.

Millions of alewife suspend here during the daytime, from about mid-June until mid-July. Locate a school and try trolling stickbaits from downriggers for suspending walleye.
