Anderson shoal is one of the premier walleye spots in the upper bay.  May and early June can be phenomenal - jig the gravel-bottomed, 8-to 14-foot drop-offs, especially on the north and west sides.  A nice coontail bed develops on the hump and attracts fish from mid-July through September.  Cast the outside edge with crankbaits like Shad Raps.  The 13- to 15-foot water north of the shoal can be outstanding at first ice in late December and early January.
